Why is it that we only have parties for each other when one of us gets married, pregnant, or has a birthday or retires?

What would we do without our sisters, confidantes, shopping, lunching and travelling girlfriends?

OVER THE LAST fifteen years I've had a blast planning Pajama Parties across the country. I've met many amazing women along the way. They are strong, caring, independent, creative, opinionated, kind, unique and truly inspirational. These women come to enjoy the friendship and sisterhood The Pajama Party provides, sharing wisdom, stories, secrets, support and laughter with each other - as only women can.

I've been fortunate to be able to share these experiences not only with thousands of women who have attended these events in the past decade, but also with my two best girlfriends - my Daughter, Lisa and my Mother, Elise. For us, The Pajama Party is a celebration of three generations - it's girl time we cherish with each other. We know that in good times and bad, through all the cycles of our lives we are always there for each other.

Forge new friendships, deepen old ones and most important of all have fun. Come on your own, with a friend or gather the gals in a group. There are no dishes to wash - no laundry to do - no meals to prepare - no toys to pick up - no beds to make - no phones to answer - no responsibility of any kind while you enjoy spending quality time and some good giggles with the most important women in your life.

Helene is an event planner extraordinaire and the creator of The Pajama Party. When she isn't planning these events for you, in her real life she is a Realtor, entrepreneur, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and avid gardener. She has been honoured by Global Television with the prestigous Woman of Vision award. She lives with her husband (who understands her need for girl time) near Calgary, Alberta.

LISA BROWN

Lisa is starting to look like her Mother and they have had many great times together at Pajama Parties over the years. Lisa appreciates the importance of women of all ages in her life and loves planning these weekend getaways for you. She is a new Mom - baby Coen was born in December and his big sister Zoe (age 3) and is sure to be a fourth generation Pajama Girl. Lisa is a Senior Marketing Executive at the Calgary Sun. She lives with her family in Airdrie, Alberta.
